How to Find Happiness?

Everyone is looking for happiness. But do we really know what is happiness and/or how to find it? The new book, just use this mind, written by Zen Master Miao Tsan has a sounding explanation for it. "The most important issue today is the over-emphasis of materialistic pursuits. The thought that brings about happiness originates inside of us, so we have, within ourselves, the natural ability to cultivate happiness. If we surrender our innate ability to be happy and instead rely on external factors for our satisfaction, we become passive participants in our life's environment. Living at the mercy of external events is a life of bondage, not freedom. Dependence on external phenomena for happiness is a form of passivity and delusion. Living this way gradually destroys the proactive creativity of the Mind, and dilutes the meaning and purpose of life."
